KTVR Group Hospital conducted a Free Multispecialty Medical Camp on Sunday 22-May-2011 between 9 AM and 12 noon, in the hospital premises. Dr V Janarthanan, Laparoscopic Surgeon & Managing Director, KTVR Group Hospital welcomed the gathering. Mr V Sridhar, Chief Manager, Saibaba Colony Branch, State Bank of India inaugurated the camp and delivered the Chief Guest’s address.

Mr V Balasubramanian, Director, Avinashilingam Jan Shikshan Sansthan and Dr K Selvarajan, Paediatric Surgeon felicitated the inaugural function. Dr M Rathinasamy, Consultant Paediatrician & Neonatologist, KTVR Group Hospital offered health tips to expectant mothers and other patients who attended the camp.

Free blood sugar check, diet counseling, BP check, height and weight check were done for over 150 patients. On 21-May-2011, free Bone Mineral Densitometry test was performed for more than 100 patients. Dr C J Arun Raja, Orthopaedic Surgeon, examined the patients and educated them on the importance of osteoporotic diseases.

Dr S Ramya (Paediatrician), Dr K Harrini (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist), Dr J Renuka (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist), Dr J Vijay Venkatraman (Diabetologist), Dr N Balakrishnan (Nephrologist) and Dr P Venkatachalam (General Surgeon) were also part of the panel of doctors who treated the patients.
